The Chittenden County Regional Plan serves a variety of purposes. According to Chapter 117 of Vermont statutes, the purpose of the regional plan is to: ...recommend a distribution of population and the uses of the land for urbanization, trade, industry, habitation, recreation, agriculture, forestry, and other uses.
