1.5 MB
Year:
2003
Theme:
Safety, Speed, Traffic, Transportation
Description:
This document was developed to provide information about the process for planning, evaluating and implementing traffic calming projects on state highways in Vermont. Municipalities, Regional Planning Commissions (RPCs) and the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) are required to follow this process when considering traffic calming projects on state highways and when using federal or state funds for such projects. Municipal officials considering traffic calming on local roads without the use of federal or state funds may find it useful to adapt this process to their needs.
