The Williston Road Network Transportation Study evaluates the section of Williston Road between Dorset Street and Hinesburg Road. The Phase I effort includes a summary of existing and future conditions along the corridor as well as an initial screening of potential alternatives. Phase I includes the development of a subarea traffic model which, along with the Chittenden County Regional TransCAD transportation model, evaluates different future transportation strategies including increased use of transit, biking walking and carpooling.

The purpose of this project is to provide a technical evaluation of Harbor Road in Shelburne, VT from its intersection with US Route 7 (Shelburne Road) west to its intersection with School Street. This evaluation will provide improvement recommendations based on data and information that VHB collected or obtained from applicable agencies.

This short report contains the general base information needed by the Town to develop a bike path fee for new development. This will then be used to calculate a path impact fee that can be adopted by the Selectboard/Planning Commission.

The studies provided very useful information on which to base future policy and fees and greatly helped to provide the basis for installation of the LED lighting under the ARRA Energy Grant.

This study identified transportation and safety issues on Silver Street in Hinesburg and developed and evaluated possible solutions.

The Vermont Agency of Transportation seeks to develop a comprehensive plan to implement a network of semi-permanent and permanent installations of DMS strategically placed along roadways across the state. These installations would form the backbone of a statewide traveler information system and be supplemented by temporary short term deployments of portable message signs during construction, maintenance or emergency operations. The approach being used to develop the DMS plan has been broken down into four distinct tasks.

Identification / Assessment of Potential Locations, Descriptions of existing conditions, Cost estimates, Funding Strategies.

The Vermont Agency of Transportation is providing this report to ensure that the best information available has been compiled and analyzed to provide a solid foundation for the discussion on commercial vehicle size. The Truck Network Analysis and the CVEST Final Report are intended to provide a framework for development of the Vermont commercial vehicle policy.

The existing pedestrian routes within the City of Burlington have been characterized by traditional sidewalks, several alleyways, and the bikepath along the lake. Presently, there are several areas of conflict that exist on these different routes throughout the city. This study involved identifying these areas of conflict with recommended improvements as well as suggesting additional innerblock connections from the immediate central-business district to the waterfront.

This study looks to analyze Burlington's waterfront as a potential area for a transportation center, determine necessary program elements and facilities for a multi-modal transportation center, and identifies potential sites.
