The Town of Huntington with assistance from the Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission (CCRPC) evaluated the current condition of Town bridges and culverts, and developed an infrastructure improvement plan.  The purpose of this plan is to develop a planning tool for the Town to maintain an overall satisfactory/or better transportation network by repairing, replacing or preserving infrastructure on a programmed schedule, and increase condition ratings of structures and to inform the annual municipal budget for bridges and culverts maintenance.

Camels Hump Road Speed Study

Description:
The Town of Huntington requested a traffic speed study for Camels Hump Road from Main Road to the parking area at the end of road. In order for a Legislative Body to determine a safe and reasonable speed on town highways, a traffic engineering investigation (speed study) is required by Vermont Statutes Annotated Title 23, § 1007. This document provides supporting findings that were used to develop recommendations for setting a speed limit for Camels Hump Road.
