The purpose of this stormwater master plan was to identify a comprehensive system of low-impact development treatment practices to address an increase in impervious surfaces and mitigate drainage issues to reduce the amount of sediment and nutrients from entering the Town’s waterbodies. CCRPC staff worked alongside Watershed Associates and Town officials to further the development of this stormwater master plan. The project was completed in April 2017

The intent of this report is to present the data collected, evaluations, analyses, designs, and cost estimates for subwatersheds in Jericho under a contract between the Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission and Watershed Consulting Associates, LLC. Funding for the project was provided by the Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation’s Ecosystem Restoration Program. The plan presented is intended to provide the watershed’s stakeholders a means by which to identify and prioritize future stormwater management efforts. This planning study presents a recommended collection of Best Management Practices (BMPs) that would address specific concerns that have been raised for these areas. In particular, there is great need to reduce stormwater impacts including phosphorus and sediment from stormwater runoff to receiving waters within the Town and the greater Lake Champlain Basin in light of future regulation under the Lake Champlain Total Maximum Daily Load. Although there are other BMP strategies that could be implemented in the watershed, these are the sites and practices that project stakeholders believe will have the greatest impact and probability of implementation. These practices do not represent a regulatory obligation of any type, nor is any property owner within the watershed obligated to implement them. The 2015 Jericho Transportation Study is an update to the 2004 Jericho Transportation Study and assesses the existing transportation system, estimates future traffic conditions based on anticipated land use, future development, and estimated traffic generation, and presents a capital plan.

This Appendix to the 2015 Jericho Transportation Study includes future development trip distribution, intersection analysis, intersection auxiliary lane warrant summaries, PAVER analysis, pavement management system analysis, transportation funding sources, and culvert inventory details.

The 2015 Jericho Bicycle and Pedestrian Facility Master Plan investigates and assesses the existing bicycle and pedestrian network, evaluates future conditions, and presents a list of recommendations for capital planning. This Plan is a supplement to the 2015 Jericho Transportation Study.

This Appendix to the 2015 Jericho Bicycle and Pedestrian Facility Master Plan includes natural and cultural resource maps, transportation funding table, bicycle/pedestrian facility maps (sidewalks & paths, trails, desired connections), model bike/ped land use regulations, complete streets information, and a complete sidewalk inventory. The 2015 Jericho Bicycle and Pedestrian Facility Master Plan and Appendix complement the 2015 Jericho Transportation Study.

The Town of Jericho identified the need for enhanced bike and pedestrian accommodations between Jericho Center and the Mount Mansfield Union High School (MMU). These two important destinations are approximately one mile apart and are connected by Browns Trace Road. The purpose of this study is to identify and evaluate potential infrastructure improvements that would improve and encourage non-motorized transportation along this corridor.

The Dickenson Street Improvement Scoping Report was developed to update and expand the previous study efforts to divert traffic from Steam Mill Road (formerly, the name of the road between VT15 and the Dickenson Street/River Road Intersection. It is now called River Road) and the Steam Mill Road/VT 15 intersection while considering future development by providing improvements to Dickenson Street.
