The CCRPC and the City of South Burlington initiated this scoping study to analyze and evaluate the feasibility of additional sidewalk and shared use paths at four (4) proposed study site locations: Spear Street from UVM George D. Aiken Forestry Sciences Laboratory to the Shelburne town line; Hinesburg Road from Williston Road to Kennedy Drive; Allen Road from Baycrest Drive to Shelburne Road, Harbor View Road from Shelburne; Road to Baycrest Drive, and Baycrest Drive from Harbor View Road to Allen Road; Fayette Drive from Queen City Park Road to Shelburne Road. This report analyzes and evaluates existing conditions, provides conceptual alternatives, and tabulates opinions of probable construction costs. It continues upon the previous efforts in the February 2017 report of the same name to improve and/or close the gaps of the South Burlington pedestrian and bicycle networks.
