Description:
This study is a supplemental to the Exit 14 Signal Systems assessment study to investigate traffic operations at the Williston Road and Dorset Street, Dorset and Kennedy Drive intersections. This study analyzed traffic operations with an alternative lane use by converting one of the two existing westbound left turn lanes on US 2/Williston Rd. into a third through lane and limit use of the far-right westbound lane to traffic destined to the Holiday Inn or the I-89 northbound ramp, and converting the exclusive northbound right turn lane on Dorset Street into a shared through/right turn lane at the Kennedy Drive intersection.
