The Act 250 permit approval for the Burlington Waterfront Park requires that a traffic study be completed to assess the conditions at the College Street railroad crossing. This study documents the summer of 1993 pedestrian and vehicular traffic counts as well as a five year projection of pedestrian and vehicular volumes at the crossing locations. The focus of the study is to evaluate the safety of the College Street railroad crossing.

A feasibility of providing a water shuttle service to communities to the south of Burlington. If shown to be feasible, a waterborne shuttle service could help to alleviate congestion on Route 7 and function to support an intermodal transportation center concept for the Burlington waterfront. In order to undertake this study, the consultants contacted a number of sources for information on present conditions in the Burlington Harbor and areas to the South, and on water shuttle operations which exist in other communities.

This report describes work completed for the Town of Richmond Traffic Network Analysis and Plan for Implementation. The purpose of this project is to provide Richmond with a highway plan and set of implementation procedures which effectively respond to current and future concerns.

This memorandum summarizes the findings and recommendations for the examination of locations along U.S. Route 7 in the Town of Milton. This document reflects comments received from the Town and the client, the Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission (CCRPC), at a preliminary briefing, and is accompanied by four scaled aerial photograph plan sheets depicting the recommendations. The memorandum is organized by the four locations examined along U.S. Route 7 intersections with: 1. Lake Road, 2. Main Street, 3. Middle Road/Railroad Street Extension, and 4. West Milton Road/Racine Road. Each of the locations is discussed below beginning with a description of existing conditions and observed problems.

Analysis of traffic impacts of growth in the Taft Corners area of the Town of Williston. This study analyzes existing and future conditions, and presents detailed recommendations for upgrading the area transportation system through a combination of public and private resources.

This report is concerned with the specific alignment of a small portion of the entire Interstate network in Vermont and will of necessity discuss the local as well as the national aspects. The recommended plan will furnish access to the Interstate network for traffic generated in the Area and provide quick and safe routes for interstate traffic which has this Area as its destination. In addition, this plan will relieve local traffic and provide a by-pass route for traffic to pass through to other regions.
