Chittenden County Housing Location Dissonance Study

Description:
The main objectives of this research study were to better understand housing location preferences in Chittenden County, Vermont and how well current housing arrangements meet the needs and preferences of current residents. Housing preferences were evaluated and how well they are satisfied by measuring the amount of dissonance in residents’ current housing location and various attributes of their housing and community. This study also focused on understanding the potential impacts of Autonomous Vehicles (AVs), Electric Vehicles (EVs), and the burgeoning trend of remote work on individuals' housing location choices and travel behavior.

Class 1 Town Highway Reclassification Pilot Study, Case Study -US Route 2, Williston

The pilot study investigates the feasibility of reclassifying a State route as a Class 1 Town Highway  describing reclassification opportunities and constraints for the State and local municipalities.  This study investigated feasibility of reclassifying an approximately 1-mile section of Williston Road (US Route 2) in the Town of Williston, Vermont.  This section of US Route 2 was selected as a viable case study as it is located within a suburban context with diverse roadway features including traffic signals, bike lanes etc.

City Center Transportation Analysis

Vermont Route 15 Segment Study Report

Specifically, the priority segment for this review is VT 15 between the Vermont Route 289 (VT 289) interchange in the Essex Town Center and the intersection of VT 15 and Vermont Route 128 (VT 128).
